Tales of the Cocktail 2023
We hosted the coolest pool party in town for the annual Tales of the Cocktail conference to give spirits industry professionals a space to unwind after a long week of seminars, tastings, and networking. Filled with fun and unexpected details, we brought the vibrancy and energy that Captain's known for, inspired by taste-forward cues, playful takes on tropical archetypes, and bringing that extra flair to enhance the moment.
Check-In
From the first moment, guests knew they were in for a deliciously fun time. A greeter checked in our visitors, and gave them a rundown of the party. A fun & tropical presentation of Captain Morgan swag featured a thatch awning, crate display units, and tropical product displays where guests can grab whatever suits them.
Changing Cabanas
Once guests grabbed their swag, they had the opportunity to change in one of the Captain Morgan branded changing cabanas.
Hero Bar
Stepping up to the Alto bar, our guests were surrounded by delicious cocktails with fun tropical touches and a custom ice luge for serving chilled Original Spiced Rum.
Pool & Deck
Thatched umbrellas and highboy tables were placed near the sun shelf for guests to get their feet wet while enjoying their drinks, while the pool was filled with beach balls in brand colors, and Captain Morgan and Vita Coco pool floats.
Vita Coco Photo Op
To bring the tropical taste of Vita Coco Spiked with Captain Morgan to life, we created an unforgettable photo op, featuring inflatable versions of the fruit flavors in each can as well as a replica of the can itself. This photo moment was enhanced with a live, colorful tropical bird that guests were able to pose with.
Captain Morgan Photo Op
In an area shaded by neighboring buildings, we had a fun-sized pool to create an intimate space for a photo moment and great spot to enjoy a Captain Morgan refreshment.
